Katowice Airport Tips
Katowice International Airport is an international airport located in Pyrzowice, 19 miles north of the city. With the fourth biggest passenger flow in Poland, it has two departure terminals you can fly from. The airport as also recently seen the launch of four new destinations with airline Wizz Air; Lisbon, Catania, Malta and Reykjavik! Things to do at the airport
- There are two business lounges at Katowice Airport, one in each terminal. These are perfect if you want some quiet, down time – plus they have free Wi-Fi if you want to entertain yourself, or perhaps do some work.
- There are several Duty Free stores in both terminals, plus news stands and giftshops if you'd rather do some shopping while waiting for your flight.
- When it comes to food, there's a more formal restaurant, but also coffee houses and places to pick up a quick bite, like a pizza or a salad. Yum.
- Hyperactive kids excited about the holiday? Tire them out in the KidZone – a soft play area for children over 3!
- One of the best things to do at Katowice airport is enjoy the Observation Deck – a bird's eye view of the airport coplex from the longest observation deck in Poland – alongside a scale model of the airport, and art in the Sky Gallery. It's in Terminal B and is open 24/7, so don't miss it!
