The Open Security Parking is in a 2 metre high fenced yard at the rear of the building. Totally secure. You do however park there at your own risk as the car park cannot get insurance cover on customers' vehicles left in the Open Parking area. Your comprehensive insurance will, however, cover your car while it is there.
Shuttle buses run from the car park grounds to the Hobart Airport terminals for Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Blue departures continuously throughout the day, ensuring that all our customers make it to their flight safely and on time. This car park will cover all flights from the 6am departures until the last plane arrives. Allow yourself approximately 1 hour before departure time to drop off your car. The friendly drivers will show you where the shuttle will be waiting for you to return you to your vehicle on your arrival back into Hobart Airport; this service is free of charge.
